Named after the chapel of St Cátedra north of Lisbon, this is a powerful dark-colored wine with fruit aromas and a wood-laden palate. The wood goes with ripe damson fruit, while there is some freshening acidity. Age for another 2–3 years.

Like so many of the finer wines from this region north of Lisbon, this wine brings out elegance as well as the richness of juicy red fruit, layered with bitter chocolate, dense tannins and a great final lift of acidity.
