Tremendously rich and concentrated, this two-county blend of Cabernet, Syrah and Merlot is one for the cellar. It’s just too tannic and dry to drink now. But with its core of blackberries, currants, cherries, violets and dark chocolate, it should hit its stride between 2010 and 2012.

Sweet and soft, with pleasurable chocolate, raspberry, cherry, granola and caramel flavors. Almost as sweet as a dessert wine. Drink now.

This is fruity as a pastry, with flavors of nougat, blackberry and cherry jam, toasted almond and honey. Modern in style, the texture is soft, with melted tannins.
