Velvety-smooth in texture, with well-articulated blackberry jam, cherry, cassis and melted dark chocolate flavors, this Zin is a little too dessert-like and Porty for my palate. But lots of people will love this richly superripe style. — S.H. (12/15/2007)

Densely black in color, though the flavors seem more modest than the color would indicate. Deep, black plum notes are in evidence, along with toasty oak and black cherry nuance. The finish is a bit astringent and short. — W.E. (11/1/2003)
