John Hongell 2001 Biscay Vineyard Shiraz (Barossa Valley)

Woodsy tannins have a firm grip on the palate, and hang on tight through the finish. Though oak lends this wine most of its charming creamy, leathery accents, it’s still an enjoyable, rich offering—warm, yes, but still very attractive. Imported by The Vine Press.
