A dark, dark Shiraz: The nose shows dark earth, blackberry and eucalyptus aromas; the palate has plum, blackberry and toast. An easy, straightforward wine.

Medium-weight and straightforward, with sweet red plum fruit on the palate that continues on through the finish, which is punctuated with an herbal bite. Nose offers cola, cream and a little leafiness.

Opens with soft talc aromas, which lead to a palate that’s rife with flavors of pear skin than ripe, fleshy fruit. Mallowy oak makes the fruit that much more difficult to find, and lends a lactic note to the finish. - D.M.

Simple; tropical fruit and buttered popcorn aromas lead the way to light pineapple flavors on the palate. Slight in body and richness; probably best as a pre-dinner drink.

Aromas are of dust and roasted plum. The wine feels light and insubstantial in the mouth, with a slight metallic edge. Finishes short. Imported by Opici Import Company.
