Cassis well integrated with the oak used here dominate from the nose to the long finish. The medium body weight fits well with the harmonious palate. A fine companion for tonight’s steak frites.

Everything about this white smacks of elegance: the slatey, citrus nose, the clean, refreshing slate, asparagus and lime flavors, the flinty, lemon-lime finish. Reserved and poised, it’s fresh with a light, minerally touch. Pair with ceviche, oysters or sip on a hot summer day.

A tasty 75% Merlot- 25% Cabernet blend with a dark berry, earth and toast profile. Just slightly tart, this will stand up well to full-flavored and spicy foods. Shows good fruit-acid balance plus hints of sous-bois (under the trees) woodsiness...not just oaky woodiness. A firm structured middleweight with solid appeal.

A distinctive nose of fresh fruit, spice and citrus lead this luscious Chardonnay. On the palate, apricot and lemon, backed by toasted nuts, adds to the appeal. Clean and fresh while also full of body. An elegant food wine.

The aromas of melon, white pepper and fresh thyme meet with citrus and dry herbs on the palate. A lovely Sauvignon Blanc in a light style, with very clean acidity. —K.F.

Tasty juice with ample tangy citrus-herb tones over ripe melon and tropical fruit aromas and flavors. Has pizzazz, but no sharp edges, and finishes long with nice spicy notes. Easy to like and easy to drink, with good balance and some complexity.

A zippy nose of lemon and apple introduces this clean and friendly wine. On the palate, more citrus and mineral character presents itself, and the overall package is both elegant and easy. A great everyday wine for pairing with fish or salads.

Juicy red fruit and earthy notes of leather, tobacco and spice give this elegant red a mellow, classic character. Smooth but sturdy tannins and a lingering finish add to the appeal. Pair with grilled meat or game, or chill and sip with a chocolate ganache.
