Here’s a Napa Cab to drink now for its sweet, polished flavors. It shows blackberries, currants, cocoa, herbs and smoky oak, folded into smooth, complex tannins, and is completely dry.

Except for some excessive sharpness in the finish, this is a lush, opulent young Cab. It shows ripe cassis, chocolate and oak flavors wrapped into firm, sweet tannins. That sharpness may limit ageability.
