This is an inaugural release, made by Napa veteran Cary Gott, grown on the western hillsides above Highway 29. It is 100% Cabernet, classic in its acid and tannin structure, with very ripe cherry compote and cassis flavors. However, it’s too sweet for complete balance and enjoyment. — S.H. (7/1/2006)
