This is a gorgeous expression of Amarone with wide appeal and generous tones of cherry, blackberry, spice and cedar wood. It has a sharp, polished feel in the mouth that in no way diminishes its power and general intensity. This is an excellent example of the beauty and appeal of this traditional blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella.

There’s an enticingly smoky element to this ripasso that recalls mesquite wood and church incense. But the wine also has a fragrant, almost floral side with soft, smooth tannins and vibrant cherry flavors.

This is a focused, pristine Amarone that ends with firm tannins and a velvety mouthfeel. It is redolent of red cherry, coffee, road pavement, leather and licorice. You could imagine a successful pairing with soft osso buco cooked on the bone.

This plump, ruby-colored Amarone shows extreme clarity and sharpness thanks to its etched aromas of soya sauce, root beer, toasted cashew and blackberry jam. The best part is that it’s a totally drinkable wine without the cloying chewiness you sometimes get with appassimento.
