Lots of ripe, flashy cherry, mocha, licorice, spice and oak flavors in this dry wine, which is marked by the softness a nice Merlot should have. A good companion with almost anything calling for a medium-bodied red.

You have to classify this as a dessert wine, because it’s quite sweet in orange and apricot jam, vanilla and buttercream flavors. Crisp acidity fortunately makes for a clean finish.
