Lots of tart gooseberries and savory lemongrass flavors in this Sauvignon Blanc. Yet there’s a sweet vanilla cream richness, even though it was fermented in stainless steel tanks. Very clean and nice, a versatile white wine at a good price.

Lots of rich, spicy flavors in this smooth Cabernet. It offers a mouthburst of ripe cherries, blackberries, cassis, bacon and pepper, and is soft and rather sweet. Drink now.

A good everyday Cab, soft and ripe, with berry-cherry, oak and spice flavors. Full-bodied and dry, with fine tannins, it’s at its best now.

Shows classic Napa varietal flavors of blackberries and black currants, with a sweet overlay of smoky cedar wood, and the wine is soft and dry. It’s not the most complex Cabernet, but the price is fair for the quality.

Here’s a bright, strongly flavored Chardonnay. It has pie-filling peach, pineapple and apple flavors, while some new oak adds buttered toast and vanilla.

This is an unoaked wine, and it’s very fruity, almost an orchard in itself. It offers waves of pineapples, Meyer lemons, limes, green apples, white peaches, apricots and gooseberries, and finishes dry and crisp.
