Neighbours 1999 Shiraz (McLaren Vale)

Winemaker Chester Osbourn’s second release is a promising Shiraz, with solid plum fruit at its core, and a dash of herb to keep things interesting. It’s smooth, though perhaps not as concentrated as I’d like. Nice chalky notes characterize the start and the finish. —D.M. — D.T. (3/1/2003)
