So if this is the spätlese, shouldn’t it be better than Pazen’s kabinett from the same site? No, it doesn’t always work that way. It’s still very good, though, and worth seeking out for its ripe melon and pear fruit graced with notes of mint and fresh greens. —J.C. — J.C. (3/1/2003)
