A big step up from the “regular” Chardonnay, this is riper, richer and longer. Buttered toast and tropical-fruit flavors, a rich, textured mouthfeel and a smooth, easy finish make this a very enjoyable drink.

Expect mainly red berries—cranberries and strawberries—from this medium-weight quaffer. Some orange and tea flavors, along with cedar and white pepper, blend in, but it’s basically a simple fruity red.

This stylish lightweight has some tasty pear, quince and citrus flavors, finishing with a hint of spice. Best as an apéritif or with a light fish course.
