There’s still a good and pleasant dose of pineapple and apple fruit accented by vanilla spice in this wine, but a mature and overly soft palate-feel suggests that it’s best consumed near-term. Finishes smooth and light, with medium length. Drink up this year.  — W.E.  (7/1/2001)
