Starts with luscious hints of oranges and honey, then adds cool mineral notes to give it backbone and structure. Full and slightly viscous on the palate, with honeyed, stony flavors. Drink now–2010, maybe a year or two longer.

Cherries and black olives on the nose, followed by a wine that’s less concentrated than the 2003 but still boasts plenty of matière. Supple, with good length on the finish. Drink now.

A big, dark, intense wine, as you might expect to come from 2003's heat and low yields. Black olive flavors bear a hint of raisin, while the tannins are powerful but ripe. Try in 2-3 years.
