A good effort, showing nicely rounded edges with the extra time in bottle. Mixed stone fruits are spiced up with cinnamon and given a finishing lift with tart acids; flavors linger gracefully through the finish.

Nice black cherry fruit powers the nose, with just the barest hints of stem and root. Firm fruit is buttressed by tart acids, and the middle opens up sweetly, adding flavors of cocoa and coffee. —P.G.

The style can only be called “nouveau” as the soft, forward, very grapey aromas are followed by tart, lightly spicy cranberry fruit and a quick, light finish. —P.G.
