Rosenblum Cellars was founded in 1978 by veterinarian Dr. Kent Rosenblum and his wife, Kathy. The Rosenblum winery is located in Alameda, California, where it produces its renowned Zinfandel, as well as Grenache, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Rhône-styled whites and dessert wines. In 2008, Diageo, the spirits, wine and beer giant, purchased Rosenblum Cellars. Among the Rosenblum wines designated Editors’ Choice by Wine Enthusiast Magazine are the 2004 Richard Sauret Vineyards Zinfandel (Paso Robles), 2001 Holbrook Mitchell Trio Bordeaux-style Red Blend (Napa Valley); and 2003 Rominger Vineyard Syrah (Yolo County).
