Despite a rather generic South Eastern Australia GI, this wine shows some interesting peppery characters--almost more green peppercorn than black--as well as bright cherry fruit. It's round enough to be mouthfilling, yet light on its feet, showing surprising length on the finish.

Fresh apple and hay scents set the stage for a refreshing expression of citrus fruit on the creamy palate. This wine’s got decent acidity and pistachio, walnut and sour candy flavors that combine harmoniously on the finish. Very tasty. Drink now.

Light to medium in body and rather tart, with leather and dried cherry notes that are submerged under an excessively medicinal character.

Don’t know what the residual sugar levels are for this wine, but it comes across as almost cloying, with a character reminiscent of cherry cough syrup.
