This herbal, crisp Chardonnay is clean and bracing. The winery name suggests the flavors, which have a thistly component, along with tangerine, Meyer lemon, lime, green apple and tonic. Very long and very fresh.— P.G.
Though it’s not labeled as such, the winery says this is their reserve level Pinot Noir. It’s an elegant wine, not a powerhouse, but with genuine depth of flavor. Pretty cherry fruit carries light notes of chocolate, tar and ground coffee, with sleek tannins through a smooth, captivating finish.— P.G.
