Tom Meadowcroft’s second label, Thomas Henry, is also sourcing from Borden Ranch in Lodi, as is his slightly higher-priced, lower-alcohol Riesling under the Meadowcroft name. This one not as as fragrant at first, more austere, but fully inviting wih melon, honey and pear. Thai food would be the perfect pairing.

Much improved over past vintages now that the winery is sourcing from the Carneros district. This wine is dry, silky and easy to like, with sour cherry candy, cranberry and white pepper flavors that finish with spicy oak. Earns an extra point for delicacy.

Made in an easy-going style, this Chardonnay has ripe, forward flavors of orange jam, buttered toast and vanilla flavors. Fine acidity provides balance.
