Not overly oaky or forced, with red berry and cassis aromas in the lead. Feels fresh but astringent, with simple, generic flavors of raspberry and plum sweetened up by vanilla. Lightweight on the finish; straightforward.

Smells like a Band-Aid with mint added in, and there’s a whiff of generic cherry as well. Tannic and grabby in the mouth, with a spiky feel and herbal, grassy flavors. Herbal and oaky on the finish, too, with a choppy feel.

A reedy, green opening tells you the story up front. The palate is reduced and scratchy, with rubbery, herbal berry flavors that don’t register. Finishes bland and weak.
