Much the same as the winery’s Pinot Gris, this unoaked Chardonnay has very green fruit flavors—tart crunchy green apple with plenty of acidity.

Very tart, almost sour, this high-acid wine just might be a good match for fresh oysters, but on its own it is slightly bitter and barely ripe.

For some tasters, this will seem a bit earthy; for others there is a note of animal. The fruit is thin, the finish chalky and astringent.
