Valcortes 2001 Crianza Tempranillo (Rioja)

Valcortes 2006 Cosecha Tempranillo (Rioja)

Cheerful at first, with bubble gum and berry drink mix aromas. The fun pretty much stops there; what follows is astringent berry flavors and a lean, choppy finish. Juicy but lacks sytle and finesse.  — M.S.  (12/15/2007)
