A sharply defined, racy Viognier, this cuts right through with a mix of pine needle, citrus rind and pineapple. It should be served chilled and would be a fine accompaniment to grilled prawns, spicy noodles or anything with jalapeños.

Valley View wines are consistently user-friendly; the Chardonnay a good example of the unpretentious, quaffable style that characterizes the brand. Simple fruit flavors are softened with light toast, coating the palate with a pleasing mix of banana, butterscotch and cracker.

Light and showing a mix of pretty strawberry and rich, malted chocolate, but there is nothing going on below the surface. This is a very light and insubstantial wine.
