There’s a good structure in this Zin, with pleasant berry, cherry, cocoa and spice flavors, but it’s too sweet to qualify as a dry table wine. With its fruit candy flavors, it’s basically off dry.

The alcohol is nice and low on this Syrah, but it seems to come at the expense of residual sugar. That drives the cherry, blackberry and currant flavors into candy territory.
