A little more straightforward than some of the heavyweights from the Priorat, but still nice and friendly. The nose offers grape jelly and black cherry to get things going, while the palate is slightly buttery and creamy, with vanilla in addition to pure berry flavors. Good, bright, quick on the finish and easy to drink.

Smells a bit foxy and gangly at first, with jumpy, almost sweaty aromas matching candied cassis and raisiny notes. After it settles down things feel drawn and firm, with baked berry, licorice and other dark flavors. Finishes sweet, with a dusting of cocoa.

Purple and foxy smelling, with opaque fruit. A strange, youthful style of Priorat with awkward, foxy flavors and a clumsy, amateur mouthfeel. Funky and herbal on the finish; weak by regional standards.
