Bright, spicy, forward and interesting, this blend of Bordeaux grapes, with a generous smattering of Syrah, has the fruit flavors of a nice Côtes du Rhône without the funk. Aromas of strawberry, raspberry and cherry bring on the same fruit flavors front and center, exiting in a wash of acid.

Half Malbec, this medium-bodied red lacks the definition of its cheaper companion, the Velo. Maybe a vintage difference, but this just falls into the generic red blend category, without any defining features.
