The opening of green apple and honeydew melon says Rueda all the way. The feel is cleansing and fresh, with piercing but proper acidity pushing flavors of green citrus, melon and green apple. Stony on the finish, with zest. Solid for near-term drinking; don’t let it sit around for long.

Clean and nice on the nose, with green fruit aromas and classic Verdejo prickle. The palate is bouncy and juicy, with lime, tangerine and passion fruit flavors. Fades quick on the finish but remains crisp and refreshing.

A little short and choppy, with citrus, almond and mineral aromas and flavors. Quite steely and sharp, with fresh but cutting lemon-lime and pineapple racing across the palate. Really zeroes in on the citrus but beyond that there isn’t much to talk about.
