Aromas of fruit cake, molasses and black plum lead off. In the second slot is ripe but simple red plum along with accents of chocolate and cinnamon. A tannic rush comes on late, but that’s abated by a smooth, easy fade. Offers ripeness and clean, full flavors.  — M.S.  (11/15/2003)
