Aromas of chili powder, cherry and wild berries create a pleasant-smelling bouquet. Flavors of berries and cream lead into a lengthy, solid finish that’s both soft and easy due to fine-grained tannins.

Here you’ll find aromatics including rubber, cherry and leather; however, the flavors run high and dry, meaning there’s piercing red fruit and not much love. Turns medicinal near the finish, with hints of root beer and butter. Imported by Joseph Victori Wines.

Stewy, with aromas of black olive and raisins. Tastes a bit herbal; but there’s sweet red fruit as well. Kind of candied on the finish, with some chewiness. Imported by Joseph Victori Wines.

Raisiny, with aromas of stewed fruit and sweet almond candy. Basic but blunted on the palate, with a dull feel and nonexistent tannins. Adequate on a good day; a bit weedy. Imported by Joseph Victori Wines.

Quite pickled, with rough vegetal notes making for a difficult bouquet. Flavors of beets, pepper and clove lead into a lean finish that’s both sugary and spicy, much like sweet-and-sour sauce. On the plus side, the mouthfeel is pretty good.
