Vinoce 2000 Red (Mount Veeder)

  • Editors' Choice
  1. $60
Rich, smooth and silky, the wine shows good weight on the palate. Plum, fig, chocolate, coffee, spice and cedar flavors are at the core of this gently muscular, well-integrated wine. The finish is long and lush.  — J.M.  (10/1/2003)

Vinoce 1999 Red (Mount Veeder)

  1. $60
Lush and elegant, with intriguing blackberry, plum, spice, vanilla, currant and herb flavors. The tannins are ripe and smooth, but firm. The finish is long, ending with a fine balance of richness and brightness. The blend is 60% Cabernet Franc, 25% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. —J.M.  — J.M.  (2/1/2003)

Vinoce 2001 Sauvignon Blanc (Rutherford)

  1. $18
Richly textured, viscous but with good acidty for balance. The wine shows pretty melon, citrus, herb, grass, peach and spice flavors and features a mineral edge that is fresh and clean at the end.  — J.M.  (7/1/2003)
