Lush and elegant, with intriguing blackberry, plum, spice, vanilla, currant and herb flavors. The tannins are ripe and smooth, but firm. The finish is long, ending with a fine balance of richness and brightness. The blend is 60% Cabernet Franc, 25% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. —J.M.

Richly textured, viscous but with good acidty for balance. The wine shows pretty melon, citrus, herb, grass, peach and spice flavors and features a mineral edge that is fresh and clean at the end.
