This wine caused a big rift among our panelists. One appreciated the wine’s meaty, blackberry, coffee-like flavors. A dissenter, however, found roasted-fruit aromas and charred flavors that were detractions. Could age 3–5 years.  — W.E.  (9/1/2005)
