Zefina 2004 Serience Red Wine (Horse Heaven Hills)

The Serience Red is a southern Rhône blend of 42% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 11% Mourvèdre, 7% Cinsault and 5% Counoise. Though a new release, it comes out nicely aged, benefiting from some extra time in bottle. It’s got a great spicy edge to it, along with chocolatey tannins and acids that suggest a lick of grapefruit—the Washington Syrah signature.
