This Zinfandel takes time to unlayer, but once it does, the combination of leather and blackberry is tasty, and the finish is pleasantly spicy.

The label will appeal to anyone interested in peace, love and understanding. The wine, with its bright fruit notes of raspberry and cherry, medium in weight, could have used a little more magic.

A good, rugged Zin for washing down burgers and ribs. It’s rich in fruit, soft and lusty, with big tannins framing cherry, berry, cocoa and spice flavors.
