Rich, elegant and classic, this wine is made from fruit sourced from old vines—some as much as 70 years old. It has a tannic structure, but the dominant elements are the dense red- and black-plum flavors, which are supported by the wine’s acids. Age it for 5–6 years.

This wine is powerful and tannic, firm and dense. The fruit character is still submerged by the concentrated, dry core, which suggests that this wine needs at least 4–5 years before the red berry fruits show through.
