The small Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru creates structured wines with plenty of texture and tannins. This is brooding, firm and very concentrated, with its fruit set way behind the dark tannins and spice note. It will take at least 10 years to start to mature.

This is a rich, full-bodied grand cru that’s loaded with dark fruit flavors. Blackberries and black cherries flow evenly across the palate, accented by notes of strong coffee and black tea. Anticipated maturity: 2006–2015.
