Tukulu 2005 Papkuilsfontein Chenin Blanc (Darling)
-
$13
From a black empowerment-managed vineyard, jointly owned with giant winery Distell, this wine comes from the Papkuilsfontein vineyard on the west coast. It is a ripe wine, but its chief attraction is the white fruit and crisp, herbaceous flavors. It already has good balance, but its very dry character promises some good development. Imported by Distell USA Inc.

Groote Post 2006 Sauvignon Blanc (Darling)

$15
The cool climate of Darling adds a crisp, fresh quality to this wonderful SB. Rich fruit paired with zesty acidity and snappy hints of citrus balance the wine, giving it complexity without weighing it down.

Groote Post 2006 Chenin Blanc (Darling)

$14
From the emerging wine growing region of Darling, this Chenin Blanc is cheerful and bright, but substantive. Crisp apple and bright tropical fruit on the nose lead into a creamy palate of melon and guava. There’s a nice spiciness on the finish, which is long. The wine has a light character but has plenty of dimension.
