So fresh and direct in fruit and light in body, it’s almost like a rosé. Raspberries, cherries, red licorice, cola and spices fill the mouth, savory and spicy. Drink with a lovely lamb shop or grilled salmon.

A good, somewhat standard Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley, dry and crisp in acidity, with a scour of tannins. The flavors, of cherries, red currants, cola and sandalwood, could be more concentrated. Drink now.

Lots of sweet raspberry, strawberry and cherry fruit in this silky wine, along with the buttered toast influence of oak barrels. It’s a gently appealing Pinot Noir to drink now.

There’s a lovely dryness and elegance of mouthfeel to this Pinot Noir that make it instantly appealing. True, it could be richer. But for the price and case availability, it’s a pretty polished wine. Shows tart, bitter cherry, cranberry and cola flavors, with a deft touch of smoky oak.

Brisk in acidity and bone dry, this Pinot is elegant, although it falls short on opulence. The flavors are of sour cherry candy and cola.

Edgy and sharp now, with a cut of acidity giving a rustic bite to the cherry, blackberry and toasty oak flavors. Hard to see it aging well, so give it a good decant and drink now.

Everything about this Pinot is upfront, but it’s beautiful. Softly appealing, with a silky mouthfeel, it offers flattering raspberry and cherry jam flavors, with smoky, sweet, buttery notes. The softness suggests that the wine is not ageable.

This is a solid Pinot, ripe in raspberries and cherries, with fine coastal acidity and firm tannins. It has a silky mouthfeel the way Pinot Noir should.
