A nice example of a California Riesling in the Alsatian style. Quite dry, but rich in fruity essence, with flavors of minerals, peach, citrus, slate and a pretty jasmine note. Very high in acidity, though, with a sour finish.

A very nice Gewurz that showcases how well it does in this AVA. Bright and crisp in acidity, with perky, fresh flavors of green papaya, citrus and dusty spices. Will play nicely off fish or pork topped with fruity salsas.

This variety doesn’t have much of an identity in California, and this wine doesn’t clarify things. It’s very dry and clean and austere in citrus fruits, with a wash of fig, sort of like a Sauvignon Blanc.

There’s lots of fresh, green, crunchy fruit and berry flavor in this dry young wine. In this cool vintage, the wine shows zesty flavors of gooseberries, spiced melons and limes, with a touch of feline essence.

Technically, this Gewürz has a residual sugar of 0.8%. Taste-wise, that gives it a round, honeyed softness that nicely balances the high acidity, and makes the pineapple, guava and lychee flavors taste like they’re baked into a rich, savory pie. An enormous blast of Asian spices kicks in on the finish.

As the name implies, this is Husch’s dry Gewürz. It’s a balanced, crisply acidic, fresh wine that showcases the variety’s lychee, citrus and wildflower flavors and rich trove of Asian spices.

Cultivated from a single vine many years ago that the then-vineyard manager believed was special, Husch’s Vine One Chard is a soft, exotic wine. It combines smoky-sweet oak notes with baked apple, pear and quince flavors that finish dry and spicy.

Soft and gentle, with slightly sweet flavors of pineapple, pink grapefruit, green apple, honeysuckle and cinnamon spice. Will go with a wide array of foods.
