Overtly sweet, with honeyed flavors of peaches, apricots and pineapples. Made from various varieties, including Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier.

Hearty and rustic, this is a blend of several varieties—including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah—it’s an all-purpose, slightly sweet red wine for drinking with spaghetti and meatballs, burgers and chili.

Soft, simple and sweetish, this Pinot has cherry pie filling, cola and rhubarb pie flavors. It contains a dollop of Petite Sirah, which gives it more body.

Not a very satisfying wine. Feels acidic and sharp in the mouth, with thin, minty flavors that only barely contain cherry fruit. But it’s clean and silky.

Marked by vegetal notes, as the 2007 was, this wine has an objectionable asparagus smell and taste. Other than that, sweet red cherries and oak mark it.
