A heavy dose of honey and apricots is the character of this 100% estate grown Riesling. On the palate, it’s thick and semisweet, but the finish is relatively clean and long. A good choice for fans of the sweeter whites.

This will appeal to fans of lean and unoaked whites, but for a Chardonnay, it lacks dimension and balance. Lemon dominates the palate and the finish is fleeting. It’s refreshing, though, making it an easy hot weather choice.

This is Snake River's first reserve release and though it's a tad tannic now, it should age well. Spice, cherry, blackcurrant and violet on the nose unfold into flavors of meaty plum and oak. The Cabernet adds heft while Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec add further character and color. Not terribly complex but an enjoyable wine.

Apricot and spicy fig mingle with tropical fruit in this simple but appealing icewine. Balanced on the palate with a clean finish, pair it with a fruit plate or creamy cheese.

Black currant and chocolate aromas, paired with well-structured tannins and some oaky smoothness recommend this Idaho Cabernet. I’d like a little more assertiveness of fruit and more complexity, but in general the wine is good and easy to drink. Pair with lamb and grilled beef.

Earthy, spicy aromas lead, rolling into smoky layers of typical Cab flavors. Berry, tobacco and touches of sweet oak give it okay complexity.

This golden white from Idaho gives aromas of apricot, citrus and spice, followed by exuberant flavors of apple, honey and tropical fruit. Slightly sweet but with a good balance. Pair with soft cheeses, Indian cuisine.
