Acacia 1999 Desoto Vineyard Pinot Noir (Carneros)

Compared to other Acacia Pinots, this is the richest and densest, but it carries a common thread: ultra sweet fruit. It’s all about black cherry, barrel char and then coffee and warmth on the finish. Similar to the berry syrup you put on pancakes or vanilla ice cream.  — W.E.  (10/1/2002)
