Light cherry flavors are swathed in smoky oak and vanilla wafer notes, with just a hint of spice. At this point, there’s too much wood for the fruit, and it all leads to a quick, dry, tannic finish. Just 340 cases made. — P.G. (12/31/2001)

Adea 2000 Chardonnay (Willamette Valley)
