Good varietal character, especially on the pungent nose. Passion fruit and grapefruit control the juicy palate, which is sculpted in that so-called New Zealand style. Ready to drink, with citrus all the way to the back end.

A nice, full-bodied Cabernet that shows a pinch of tire rubber along with olive, roast meat and big berry aromas. The palate is firm and tannic, with cassis, cherry and raspberry forming a puckery trio. The finish is slightly medicinal, with milk chocolate entering late in the game. Not overly complex but rich in terms of fruit content.

Not sure what the difference is between this wine and Agustinos’ Gran Reserva and Reserva Privada because all are priced the same and rate about the same. Here we get banana, apple and fresh hay aromas along with a spunky palate of lemon, pineapple and green apple. Finishes with some honey and spice.

Clean, basic New World Chardonnay that’s fresh and smells of apples and peaches. The palate is round and features a good feel akin to apple juice, while the flavor profile consists of apple cider, toast and vanilla. Nicely oaked, with caramel, toast and banana on the finish.

Aromas of tree bark, vanilla and herbs mix with peppery red fruit scents, while the palate is comfortable and herbal, with plum and dry oak notes. Peppery on the finish, and overall this is a nice but standard Chilean Cabernet that should strike most as being familiar.

Earthy and foresty on the nose, with balsam wood aromas that go well with hints of grilled meats and spice. Not overly fruity but still well balanced, with blackberry, olive and herbal flavors. On the finish, chocolate and coffee enter the picture. Easy to like and good for the money.

Burnished in color, but packs punch. The nose is warm and subtle, while the crisp, linear palate pushes honest spiced red-fruit flavors and oaky mocha. More spice, oak, bacon and mocha on the finish. Shows true Pinot identity; better than the previous year.

Red in color as if it were Merlot, with generic but entirely pleasant berry fruit aromas. The palate is round, creamy and comfortable, with oak-infused berry and plum flavors. Slightly resiny on the finish, with a peppery aftertaste. Solid Chilean Pinot Noir. 10,000 cases produced.
