Alexia 2001 Chardonnay (Nelson)

Starts off very tart and citrusy, almost sour in its intensity, with unripe pineapple and plum aromas. It really smooths out on the finish, picking up weight, a creamy texture and length. Seems to need 6-12 months to round into form.  — J.C.  (9/1/2003)
