$85
Awesomely ripe and delicious Cabernet, dazzling with blackberry and cherry pie filling, cassis, anise, dark chocolate, sweet vanilla, toast, spice and even an earthy note of green olives. The tannins are soft, sweet and complex. Really good and well-structured, one of the best St. Helena Cabs of the vintage. Drink now–2014.

Anomaly 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon (St. Helena)

$85
This big, strong Cabernet insists on pushing its blackberry, currant, plum and cocoa flavors across the palate. It’s not subtle, and doesn’t apologize for it. The grapes are from various vineyards in St. Helena, a warmer part of Napa Valley, and you can taste the incredible ripeness as well as the softness of tannins and acids that make drinking it so pretty now.

Anomaly 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley)

$75
Classic Cabernet character from this St. Helena wine, which contains small amounts of Cab Franc and Petite Verdot. Opens with a splashy burst of black currants, spicy cherry liqueur, charry cedar and new oak and turns elegant and complex in the mouth. Polished, delicate structure, with a round, supple feel. Finishes dry and long. Drink now–2015.
