This seems like one of those old field blends where the Zin is blended with Carignan and Petite Sirah. It’s hot in alcohol, very ripe in jammy berry, prune and chocolate flavors, and rather rustic. Grill up the ribs, slather them in barbecue sauce and enjoy.  — S.H.  (6/1/2012)
