Hay, anise and herbs on the nose, with clean, firm apple and pear flavors. Finishes with a smooth feel and slightly peppery, spicy flavors.

Straightforward, varietally correct Merlot, with aromas of black cherries, chocolate, tobacco and a hint of vanilla. It's medium-weight, with soft tannins and crisp acids that leave your mouth watering. Solid stuff.

Plump in the mouth, with scents of blanched almonds and apple butter. Picks up dried spices on the palate to go along with apple-y fruit. It's low-acid nature correctly reflects the heat of the vintage.

Apple and pear notes predominate in this straightforward, pleasant wine. The palate feel is good, and the finish is reasonably long. It’s a perfect picnic quaff.
