Dark, full-bodied, rich and dramatic, offering masses of ripe blackberries, cassis, bitter chocolate and cedar. Firm but fine tannins frame this impressive, dry Syrah.

An impressive estate wine that shows why Syrah is coming on like gangbusters. The flavors are richly ripe and fill the mouth with cherry, blueberry and blackberry notes that are sweetly lush. These flavors are balanced by near-perfect tannins, soft and luxurious, and nice, crisp acids. A touch of smoky oak adds spice and vanilla accents.

ThereÕs no oak evident at all in this clean, lemony wine, although it avoids overly sour flavors by veering into riper peach notes. Lees aging adds a creamy texture and bitterness. This pretty wine is a straightforward drink at a super-value price.

Big and brash—a little rough around the edges—but compensates with tasty blackberry, coffee and earth flavors. Plentiful acids and tannins give this wine a leg up with leg of lamb.
